Planning and Paying for Care

Planning and Paying for Care

Paying for home care can feel overwhelming — but you may have more options than you think. Magnolia Senior Care Solutions is a private pay agency, meaning clients pay directly for care, but we’re happy to work with your long-term care insurance provider and we are an approved provider for Veterans Administration (VA) benefits.

Covered Funding Options:

  1. Private Pay (Out-of-Pocket)
    • Most common way to start home care
    • Flexible and fast — no eligibility requirements
    • Often used alongside family support or short-term planning
  2. Long-Term Care Insurance (LTCI)
    • Policies may reimburse for in-home care services
    • We’ll assist with documentation and care plans for claim approval
    • Coverage depends on your specific policy and elimination period
  3. VA Aid & Attendance Benefit
    • Available to wartime veterans or surviving spouses who meet financial and medical eligibility
    • Magnolia is a VA-approved agency
    • Monthly pension benefit used to pay for in-home assistance
    • We can help families navigate the application process
